Desription

The EGL624GM is a fully automatic electronic levelling rotating grade/slope laser with easy-to-use controls.  Simply place laser level on a tripod (optional extra) and press the power button, in seconds it self levels and begins to rotate.  The EGL624GM is extremely tough with a steel internal chassis and heavy-duty rubberised casing.  Therefore,  it can handle to be used day in, day out on the toughest of job sites.

The EGL624GM Is also electronically self-levelling on its side for vertical rotation and includes a dot laser at 90 degrees for site layout.

Auto Grade Match Tracking to Receiver

The EGL624GM features dual manual grade match so you can set a grade on either or both axis using the remote control, so single person grade setting.  Where the EGL624GM stands out from the rest is the automatic grade match and tracking facilitated by the LR720T tracking receiver.   This feature allows the user to set the LR720T millimeter tracking receiver at a particular height.  The laser will then slope its beam on the selected axis to find this height and lock to this grade.  This makes setting grades extremely quickly and is especially useful where you want to match to a particular slope on site. This tracking feature can also be used with the laser on its side for vertical alignment. Making it an awesome fencing laser, see video on fence alignment above.

More Features

As with other models in this EGL & EL ranges it features TILT function in that if this is selected and the laser is disturbed or knocked the beam will stop rotating and indicate something has moved.  Another feature is V W S (vibration and wind setting) when selected the EGL624GM will continue to spin even when making minor adjustments due to vibrations, without it selected it will stop rotating each time to make those minor adjustments.  Ideal for when working on a site with heavy machinery or when mounted on less stable surface.  The EGL624GM can also be use for interior installation with Scan line modes to intensify the visible brightness for both horizontal and vertical operation.

The EGL624GM comes complete with the Heavy Duty LR720T electronic tracking receiver with millimeter Display, dual LCD front and back.  The EGL624GM also comes with rechargeable batteries and charger, but, can also be used with standard “C” batteries or even be powered of the charger/power supply.  Also included is a remote control.

This model is ideal for concreters, plumbers, general builders, site square and site levelling as well as internal installation.  The LR720T Millimeter receiver makes levelling that bit easier, at a glance you can see how far of level you have.  For rough levelling also it makes levelling so much faster.  For example, if you only need to be within 10 or 20mm of level for a particular task the answer is right there in front of you.

FVAK64 Laser Level Fencing & Vertical Alignment Kit

The FVAK64 Fence & Vertical Alignment kit is designed specifically to be used with a RedBack DGL1010GM, EGL624GM, or GREEN624GM laser level.

This Kit has been designed by RedBack Lasers Australia to make your existing compatible RedBack laser into the ideal fencing and universal vertical alignment laser.

The Kit Includes a custom-manufactured Laser Offset Bracket, Receiver Offset Bracket, Staff Attachment Bracket, Scope Alignment Bracket, 360 Fine Adjustment Plate, and Superior 9X Optical Scope.

How the Fencing Alignment Kit Works

How it works is that the Laser offset bracket is mounted onto any flat top tripod and the laser is then placed onto the 360 adjustment plate which itself is screwed onto the offset bracket. This allows the user to manipulate the position of the laser level precisely over a datum point.  Such as your first fencing post or stake.

The Scope Alignment Bracket is specifically designed to fit the base of the compatible RedBack Laser Levels and the optical scope can be mounted on its magnetic seat.  The principle is that the scope can be set to be parallel offset to the vertical rotation plane using the auto-tracking feature of RedBack Lasers.

Setting or calibrating the scope to the vertical rotation requires using the Receiver Offset bracket together with the LR720T Tracking Receiver that comes with the compatible laser level.  Once calibrated using the auto-tracking feature you are ready to vertically align either using the receiver or by the optical scope.  See our videos to see this whole process in action and how this fencing and alignment solution can work for you.

This latest version has a staff attachment bracket which is bolted to your staff (staff not included in this kit), the receiver offset bracket then locks onto the staff providing an offset matching your laser level.  Offset Mounting Bracket can be attached to either a 2.4m or 5m staff.  Two settings are EGL624GM based and DGL1010GM based lasers.

RedBack can attach the mounting bracket to your receiver if desired if staff is purchased at the same time as the Fencing alignment kit.  Let us know before we ship out.  The bracket can be mounted onto any similar staff you may already have.

Tripod & Staff Bundle 240HDF

Tripod & Staff Bundle – Heavy-duty aluminium flat top tripod with 5/8″ survey thread. Together with a dual-sided 2.4m telescopic aluminium staff.

The tripod features high-quality aluminium construction.  It is designed for use with all laser levels and dumpy levels with a standard 5/8″ survey thread.  The tripod has extendable legs with quick-release clamps for easy set-up.  The central locking thread is hollow which allows a plumb-down laser dot to pass through.  The HDF94 tripod in this bundle also features a handy carry strap.

The 240CM3S staff supplied in the bundle features on one side a 5mm block pattern and the other with mm scale.  Fully collapsed the staff is less than 1m in length and fully extended can read up to 2.4m, so, very compact.  The staff comes supplied with a carry bag with strap and a spare locking button.  Also included is a levelling bull’s eye vial for accurate measurements.  The staff can be used with any laser level receiver and also dumpy level for visible sighting.
