Electronic Grade Laser & Machine Receiver Earthmoving Combo

This Laser & Machine Receiver combination is ideal for general site levelling and grade setting applications when using a small machine or excavator.

This combo includes the RedBack EL614GM electronic levelling laser with auto grade tracking functionality.  The Laser level includes a millimetre display tracking receiver for this function plus rechargeable batteries and remote control.  The RedBack MR706 is a self-contained receiver with an inbuilt rechargeable battery.  The receiver mounts onto a machine with extremely strong magnets with anti-slip feet. Description of the EL614GM Auto Grade Match Laser

The EL614GM is a fully automatic electronic self-levelling rotating laser in the horizontal plane with an auto-grade match.  Firstly place laser level on a tripod (optional extra) and then press the power button, it levels and begins to rotate.  The EL614GM is extremely tough with a steel internal chassis and heavy-duty rubberised casing it can handle use day in, day out on the toughest of job sites.

This model features TILT function in that if this is selected and the laser is disturbed or knocked the beam will stop rotating and indicate something has moved.  It also features V W S (vibration and wind setting) when selected the EL614GM will continue to spin even when making minor adjustments due to vibrations.  Without V W S selected in windy conditions, the laser will stop rotating each time to make those minor adjustments, in other words, you can keep working.

The EL614GM rotating laser with auto-grade match comes with a remote control that allows the setting of a manual single-axis grade with just one person.  Probably the RedBack EL614GM’s most outstanding feature is Automatic Grade Match Tracking.  This feature allows the user to set the LR730T millimetre tracking receiver at a particular height.  The laser will then slope its beam on the selected axis to find this height and lock to this grade.  This, therefore, makes the setting grades extremely quick and is especially useful where you want to match to a particular slope on-site.

The EL614GM comes complete with the NEW for 2026 Heavy Duty LR730T electronic receiver with 1/2 millimetre Display & tracking facility, dual LCD front and back.  The EL614GM also comes with rechargeable Ni-MH batteries and a charger, however, you can also use standard “C” batteries with the included “C” cell battery caddie.  You can even power the laser off the charger/power supply, therefore, making the laser always available to use.

MR710 Machine Receiver

RedBack Lasers MR710 machine mounted receiver with magnetic mount.  The MR710 is designed to work with most red rotating laser levels.  It features magnetic mounting for attaching to a machine dipper arm boom or blade/bucket. This is a great package for Excavators, Backhoes and more.

The MR710 features 360 degrees of reception and can pick up a laser anywhere within its massive 250mm reception window.  The receiver will flash slowly it indicates when the laser moves outside of the reception window and shows the height at which the laser was last detected.  On the receiver are 5 extremely bright clusters of LED lights indicating the height of the laser.   Both above and below level as well as for level.

The RedBack Lasers MR710 has an internal Ni-mh battery that can be charged with the included mains charging unit.  It can also operate on a 12 or 24V system with the included cable with crocodile clips.  Note though on a 12V system the receiver will still need a mains charge from time to time as the 12V system will only top up the internal battery not fully charge it.
