Outdoors and at range, a rotating laser isn’t read by eye – it’s read with a receiver. On a staff, a millimetre receiver like the LR728 confirms grade at any point in the paddock. On a machine, the MR706 magnetic-mount receiver detects the beam through 360 degrees so heights are checked from the seat. That’s normal operation, not a fault – the beam is doing its job even when you can’t see it.

FFranz Franz6 months agoCustomer service was above and beyond. Product has met and beaten expectations. They were sold out of the package deal I wanted but contacted me directly when stock came in to offer it without waiting for it to go online. Had the laser over two weeks now and it's light beam is brighter than my mates DeWalt and the receiver works at a longer distance. Another cool feature is that the batteries have a USB C port on them for charging with USB C cable instead of needing another charger. Was dubious about them being cheaper than others on the market but I honestly can't fault it. Carry box also feels strong and sturdy.
