Introducing our brand new RedBack Lasers Millimetre LR728 Receiver - The LR728 is our toughest built Millimeter Display Receiver to date, suitable for both RED and GREEN rotating laser levels. The standout feature of the LR728 is the millimeter display which can show readings as precise as +/- 0.5mm, a first for RedBack Lasers. The receiver itself has an 80mm laser reception sensor window, dual LCD back lit displays and three LED displays.

The RedBack LR728 can provide a 0.5 or 1 millimetre reading of up to 20mm above and 20mm below the level point and counts down the millimeters as you get closer to the level. You can also set a custom zero-point based on the existing position of the laser beam if you wish.

The LR728 has 4 accuracy settings for level +/-0.5mm, 1mm, 5mm and 10mm level bands. The LR728 comes with a BRAND NEW heavy-duty cast metal staff clamp (SBPro) and also has magnets built into the casing for mounting on steelwork etc.

Advantages

One of the biggest advantages of this Millimeter Receiver over a standard one is when performing coarse levelling tasks. For example, If all you need is to be within 20mm (+/- 10mm) of level then just keep an eye on the reading and make sure it never hits 11mm either above or below. This allows your onsite workflow to be much more efficient than having to constantly find the exact level mark on most conventional receivers.

The LR728 millimetre detector is powered by 2 x "AA" batteries, we include a rechargeable set and charger pack & cable when you purchase this receiver. Do not attempt to recharge normal batteries in this charger pack.

This Receiver is most commonly used to detect Horizontal Beams (Level), but can also be used on it's side to detect Vertically traced Rotating Laser lines as well (for use with Lasers that can be used Vertically for Alignment). Instead of detecting up and down, the Receiver with give readings of Left & Right, and with the same mm accuracy settings as listed above. This is commonly used for Fencing, Alignment or Set-out applications.

The RedBack LR728 is suitable for most visible rotating lasers and picks up both Red & Green. Suitable on both Class 2 & 3 Rotating Lasers.

The Ideal Receiver for...

Rotating Lasers are most commonly used outdoors for longer range applications like Building, Fencing, Concreting, Landscaping and more. The LR728 is the ideal receiver for outdoor work with a Rotating Laser, but can also be suitable for indoor applications like Tiling, Alignment, Fit-out if required. Millimeter Receivers are by far the most accurate receiver to use, and also help with onsite efficiency by giving quick, responsive and accurate readouts. This Receiver will not work with Line Lasers even if they have pulse mode, due to the pulse mode of a line laser being a different frequency to what this Receiver can detect.
