A Class Above - Class 3R vs. Class 2

RedBack Lasers are proud to sell many of the highest powered line lasers available in Australia.

 

What is Class 3R?
Class 3R refers to all lasers that have a power output of <5mW in their laser diodes.

In comparison, the majority of lasers sold in Australia are only Class 2, which means <1mW of power output for each diode.

 

Many of our competitors in the Australian market claim to have "the world's brightest laser" despite only selling Class 2 products.

Class 2 vs. Class 3R makes a massive difference to the visibility of a laser beam - which is what our competitors don't want you to know.

People often ask us for Green Lasers because they've been told that they are brighter than Red - but it is actually the class or wattage that makes all the difference. Our Green & Red Class 3 Lasers are both just as visible as each other.

If you choose a RedBack Laser that is Class 3R - know that it is the most powerful and visible laser you are allowed to use in Australia. They are completely safe for use in trade, construction & DIY.

Customer service was above and beyond. Product has met and beaten expectations. They were sold out of the package deal I wanted but contacted me directly when stock came in to offer it without waiting for it to go online. Had the laser over two weeks now and it's light beam is brighter than my mates DeWalt and the receiver works at a longer distance. Another cool feature is that the batteries have a USB C port on them for charging with USB C cable instead of needing another charger. Was dubious about them being cheaper than others on the market but I honestly can't fault it. Carry box also feels strong and sturdy.

The guys at Redback are awesome. I had occasion to have to get my 3 beam green repaired after a moment of stupidity on my part. Repairs were done in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. The advantages of dealing with an Australian manufacturer are huge. No name brands are garbage if you damage them, and even some of the bigger "brand" names will see repair costs exceed replacement price. Redback build and sell quality products and the after sales service is fantastic More than happy to recommend Redback and their product range
