MT28 Pinless Digital Moisture Meter

The MT28 is a compact digital moisture meter designed to measure building materials’ moisture.  The meter can measure moisture in 4 groups of building materials easily selected with the mode button.  The sensor is located on the back of the meter to make measurements quick and easy without damaging the material being measured.

The Moisture Meter features a large and bright backlit LCD Display with large readings for percentage Moisture.  In addition, the display indicates battery power, Material Selected and a percentage scale.  Above the LCD Display are a selection of LED lights which indicates from Dry to Wet.  There is also an audible alarm when entering the wet range.  The Mode button selects the type of material being tested; Wall – is for drywall/plasterboard, Masonry for Brick or Concrete, Soft Woods and Hard Woods.  The MT28 also features a handy hold feature so if you are measuring in a tricky-to-see spot you can press the hold button to freeze the displayed measurement.  There is also a small torch light on the back of the unit to help in dark conditions.
