Pipe Lasers — Grade. Align. Lay.
Pipe lasers are designed specifically for laying pipes at a particular grade. A powerful laser dot projects onto a target plate inside the pipe, so you can set alignment and gradient at the same time — accurately, visibly, without second-guessing a receiver. Plumbing, earthmoving, civil — pipe laid true, first time.

Four RedBack pipe lasers — PL650 and PL650G general-purpose, DR100 and DR100G heat-rated for hot sites. Pick by beam colour and operating temperature range.
When a pipe laser beats a rotating laser
Six reasons trades reach for a pipe laser when they’re laying pipe — most of them aren’t possible with a rotating laser at all.
Grade and alignment at once
A pipe laser sets both alignment and gradient simultaneously. Rotating lasers can only do one at a time — and only some even offer vertical alignment.
Visible target, not a receiver
A laser dot hits a target plate in the pipe. You see the position instantly — no chasing a receiver, no bleeping, no second-guessing.
Grade as a percentage
Input the grade directly — 1.667%, 2%, whatever the drawing calls for. Faster and more accurate than a remote manually tilting a rotating laser beam over.
Class 3 brightness
All RedBack pipe lasers are Class 3 (<5mW) — the maximum laser output legal for construction in Australia. Visible at distance, even down a long pipe run.
Heat-rated for hot sites
DR100 and DR100G operate up to 50°C. PL650 (red) to 40°C, PL650G (green) to 35°C. For summer earthmoving or covered trenches in full sun, the DR100 range is the right call.
Everything in the box
Feet sets, targets, batteries, charger, and a current calibration certificate — every RedBack pipe laser is ready to use the moment you open it. No surprise add-ons, no “extras required”.
The RedBack difference
Anyone can sell a pipe laser. Few back it properly.
Ready out of the box
Heavy-duty construction, professional-quality performance, and a calibration certificate in every kit. Feet, targets, batteries and charger included — no hidden extras.
Built to last, built to be repaired
