The DC10 suctions onto the wall electronically, powered by an internal Li-ion battery charged via a USB cable. The Suction mount automatically activates to maintain suction continuously. The cleaner the surface the mount is suctioning to, the better the holding power. The mount comes with a 1/4" camera thread plus a 5/8" Survey Thread adaptor. In the image above, an L203/LS607 Line laser (not included) is shown mounted to a painted plaster wall.
The Suction Mount has two sets of LED lights: one for battery level and the other for suction quality. The cleaner and less porous the surface it is mounted to, the better and stronger the mount. There is no recommended laser mounting weight, as it all depends on the surface you are mounting on. However, from our experience, most line lasers and even some lighter rotating lasers can be safely used with this device. Make sure you regularly check the battery level and have a dust-free area on the wall you are mounting to.

FFranz Franz5 months agoCustomer service was above and beyond. Product has met and beaten expectations. They were sold out of the package deal I wanted but contacted me directly when stock came in to offer it without waiting for it to go online. Had the laser over two weeks now and it's light beam is brighter than my mates DeWalt and the receiver works at a longer distance. Another cool feature is that the batteries have a USB C port on them for charging with USB C cable instead of needing another charger. Was dubious about them being cheaper than others on the market but I honestly can't fault it. Carry box also feels strong and sturdy.
