The MR710D+800POLE combines RedBack's flagship machine receiver and wired in-cab display with an 800mm magnetic mounting pole — purpose-built for mounting directly to an excavator's dipper arm (stick). Get precise height readings from the cab without stopping work.

The MR710D+800POLE is the complete solution for excavator operators who need reliable, accurate height readings — all from the comfort of their cab. It includes everything in the MR710D kit, plus a heavy-duty 800mm magnetic dipper arm pole that mounts directly to the excavator stick using powerful magnets — no drilling or permanent modifications required. The 800mm × 50mm OD steel pole positions the receiver at the ideal height on the dipper arm for optimal laser beam reception. An additional pair of clamp mounts is included to secure the receiver firmly to the pole. When you're ready to use the magnetic mounts instead — for direct attachment to the machine body or bucket arm — simply swap over in seconds. The wired in-cab display (10m cable) means the operator always has a clear height readout at eye level, with five ultra-bright LED indicators showing level, above, and below. Combined with IP66 weatherproofing and a 40-hour battery, this kit is designed for full days on site in Australian conditions.

The rigid steel tube keeps the receiver perfectly aligned for accurate, repeatable height readings, and the additional clamp mount set attaches the receiver securely to the pole. Swap between pole-mount, direct-magnet and clamp-mount in seconds.

Care Instructions

Machine Mount Receivers are pretty easy to look after! The best advice we can give is to make sure your receiver is fully dry before storing it back in the case for an extended period of time. Water vapours can ingress inside places where water itself can't, which can cause condensation to build inside the unit. Avoid getting the magnets stuck together unless you like a challenge!
